Male Infertility : Clomiphene citrate functions by increasing the secretion of hormones that stimulate the production of sperm in men.
In case of low testosterone, Clomiphene citrate (25 mg) may be considered to stimulate the production of testosterone. However, individual health situations vary, and decisions should be made based on through evaluation.
In cases of oligospermia, hypogonadism, and eugonadotropic hypogonadism, where FSH and LH levels are within the normal range (typically less than 8 to 10), yet testosterone levels fall below 350 nanograms per dl, intervention may be necessary. If testosterone levels dip below 300, it’s considered a critical threshold. In such instances, Chlomiphene citrate becomes a viable treatment option. This medication can help address the hormonal imbalance by stimulating
testosterone production. Monitoring FSH, LH, testosterone, and estradiol levels is crucial for assessing the need for intervention and tailoring treatment to individual hormonal profiles.
